Mission Statement:
As a company, Arts Quest promotes local talent and helps to provide artists with sufficient resources and networking opportunities to present and publicize their work. Our mission is to contribute as one of London 's own ‘creative' building blocks, in thereof defining London as a creative city. While making this a fun and unique celebration event for citizens, our initiatives expand to promoting London artists, bridging international artists and establishing growing relationships with community partners and peers.
Brief History:
Working in collaboration with artists and staff at The ARTS
Project we had the opportunity to work on creative projects with artists
from London and surrounding areas. We organized London's first Winter
Folk concert January 20, 2006 featuring folk artist and activist, James
Gordon and eight guest musical artists; Allison Brown, Tony Pacheco,
Michael Luce, Samantha Hooey, Richard Negus, and Charles Frank.
Arts Quest Festival is establishing roots in London as chapter two of
Winter Folk Concert. We are inviting artists globally and nation-wide,
community members, and family members of all ages to join us for a weekend-long
celebration event of live music, fashion design, visual art, and workshops.
